Dear Friends and Citizens of St. Lucie County,
I am Larry Lee, Jr. and I have been blessed to be a part of this community most of my life. As a child, I attended the public schools here in St. Lucie County and I worked with my parents picking fruit in citrus groves on the Treasure Coast. I worked in the kitchen in restaurants, as well as other jobs to help my family and to help finance my college education. Throughout my life I have been working to bring people together to make our community a better place for all.
Before opening my own business, I was a teacher and a job placement coordinator. I know the importance of a good education and a good job. I have assisted in the creation of hundreds of jobs in our community by giving others the opportunity to build their own businesses. I also know that life does not always come easy because it did not always come easy for me. Yet, I know that with hard work and an opportunity for success, success can occur. The citizens of St. Lucie County have been instrumental to my success as a local businessman, and I thank you.
I also know that success requires that we give back. That is why the businesses in which I am involved have sponsored events for local students and schools, including Fort Pierce Central, the Fort Pierce Magnet School of the Arts, the Parents Academy of St. Lucie County, and more recently Boy Scouts Troop 772, in addition to providing assistance to our elderly population. Thank you for allowing me to serve you in the Florida House of Representatives these past two years. My involvement in the community, knowledge of the needs of our community, along with my proven leadership experience has prepared me to serve you in the Florida legislature. I want to continue to be your advocate, working across party lines, protecting your interests and bring jobs to the Treasure Coast.
I am asking for your support to help me continue working with you to make a difference. On November 4th I ask you to cast your vote for me - Larry Lee, Jr for the Florida House District 84.
